Five steps from first call to full power.

Every Energise Solar customer follows the same clear path. Here’s what happens, when it happens, and what you need to do (spoiler: not much).

Day 1 — Free

Remote site assessment

We don’t need to knock on your door to size your system. Our team pulls satellite roof data and cross-references 12 months of your electricity bills to build a precise usage picture before anyone picks up the phone.

Day 2–3

Custom design & fixed quote

A qualified designer — not a commission salesperson — draws up your system layout and sends you an itemised, fixed-price quote with the federal STC rebate already applied as an upfront discount. The number you see is the number you pay.

Week 1–2

Approvals & scheduling

Once you accept the quote, we lodge your grid connection application with your local distributor and handle all paperwork — STC assignment, electrical permit, building consent where required. You don’t fill in a single form. We confirm your install date once approval lands.

Questions we hear most about the process.

Do I need to be home during the assessment?
No — the initial assessment is entirely remote. We use satellite roof imagery and your bill data. You only need to be home on install day, and even then the crew is self-sufficient and can get started without you hovering.
How long does the approval stage take?
Grid connection approvals from your local distributor typically take 5–15 business days. This is the main variable in the 4–6 week timeline and is outside our control, though we chase distributors actively on your behalf.
Can I add a battery later if I start with solar only?
Yes — we design all solar-only systems to be battery-ready, so adding storage later is a straightforward upgrade rather than a partial reinstall. We recommend battery-compatible inverters from day one.
What happens after install if something stops working?
Your monitoring app will flag a fault before you even notice it on your bill. Our team responds within one business day, arranges a callout, and manages the warranty claim on your behalf — no manufacturer phone trees to navigate.

Ready to start? Step one takes two minutes.

Send us your last electricity bill and your suburb — we’ll size a system and send a fixed-price quote within 24 hours.
